Use desktop Chrome 116 or later and install Seekami from the official store. Save only public videos you own or have permission to download. Download access does not grant republication or commercial rights.
Download steps
Step 1
Open the specific public post or Reel in desktop Chrome and confirm you have permission to save it.
Step 2
Play the target video so the page can load its available media file.
Step 3
Use the extension download button for that video and confirm the selected post.
Export titles and captions too
Select video with title and caption in extension settings. Available page text is saved as a matching TXT file. It does not guarantee embedded text, subtitle tracks or spoken transcripts. Text export depends on the page.
If the download fails
Enable the page assistant and refresh the page.
Play the target video again, confirm the selected post, and check Chrome downloads and the save location.
If it still fails, report the platform, public post URL, extension version and error screenshot. Never send passwords or cookies.
Compatibility and limits
Selected public videos have been saved as complete MP4 files. Private posts, restricted content and universal Reels compatibility are not guaranteed.
