Extension privacy

This extension has no Seekami account or subscription requirement. Language, export preferences and the assistant switch are stored locally in Chrome. Downloads use Chrome’s selected download folder.

Content scripts run on the supported platform sites to identify video addresses and titles/captions already delivered to the page. Media requests go to the original platform or its CDN. The extension does not send videos, captions or browsing history to a Seekami processing service. Bilibili video and audio are combined locally using the bundled FFmpeg module.

Permissions: downloads (save files), storage (remember settings), offscreen (local media combining), plus content-script access to the supported platform sites. No cookie or browser-history permission is requested.

Only public videos you have permission to save are supported. Login restrictions, paid content, DRM and explicit download restrictions are not bypassed.
