15 AI Influencers to Follow in 2026

The most influential person is not always the most useful account to follow every day. A practical follow list should consider whether an account publishes consistently, explains difficult ideas clearly, and helps product teams understand technology, adoption, or distribution.

This list starts with the Seekami AI Industry Influence Ranking and selects 15 people with sustained information value for AI product teams. They are ordered by their overall Seekami position. Inclusion does not imply sponsorship availability or endorsement.

Follow for technical depth

Andrej Karpathy, François Chollet, Lilian Weng, Jim Fan, Soumith Chintala, and Jeremy Howard cover model behavior, evaluation, technical reviews, robotics, open-source frameworks, and practical education.

Do more than save their conclusions. Notice how they present evidence, define a problem, and respond to researchers and developers in the discussion.

Follow for industry direction

Andrew Ng, Demis Hassabis, Fei-Fei Li, Jeff Dean, and Yann LeCun represent different research and industry perspectives. They are useful direction signals, but industry authority is not the same as commercial availability.

For content planning, track themes that appear repeatedly across several credible accounts before turning them into product education or campaign claims.

Follow for product communication

Ethan Mollick places AI inside real work. Rowan Cheung organizes rapid product news. Yohei Nakajima shows experiments and building in public. Allie K. Miller focuses on enterprise adoption and business education.

Their value is not limited to potential partnership. They also demonstrate four different ways to communicate AI: work scenarios, fast updates, building processes, and enterprise outcomes.

From follow list to campaign shortlist

  1. Define the audience and campaign task.
  2. Save one to three recent posts that prove relevance.
  3. Track influence, content fit, and partnership intent separately.
  4. Contact only through public business routes.
  5. Define format, deliverables, revisions, and usage rights before requesting a quote.
Tool suggestion: Use Seekami on X profiles to review available ranking context, key followers, public contact routes, and similar creators before adding someone to your shortlist.
